Find your dream jewellery

What if you could choose your dream piece of jewellery? Would it be diamonds, sapphires, or pearls? Rose gold or white gold? Rings or pendants?

To help and inspire you, the team at Martin & Co were given the challenge to choose a favourite piece from the Cheltenham jeweller’s extensive range of beautifully crafted jewels. Faye, Sharron, Christine, Rory, Jake and Alex were not short of some stunning options.

Rubies and diamonds
“My dream piece would be a Ruby and Diamond Pendant,” says Faye. “I like it as it’s such an unusual and elegant arrangement of gemstones. Whilst it’s a dressier piece of jewellery, the setting and chain make it a piece that could be worn and enjoyed often. It’s a touch of understated glamour.”

What about a ring, says Sharron? “The aquamarine and diamonds complement each other so well in a beautiful Platinum Aquamarine and Diamond Engagement Ring. I love a cushion shape as it is a much softer cut of stone and very elegant.”

For Christine, however, her dream piece is a necklace. “My favourite necklace is our 18ct White Gold Diamond Pendant. This piece of jewellery is elegant and chic, and would look fantastic with a black dress for the evening. It’s not a necklace you would wear on a daily basis but on those special occasions it would look stunning. Am I allowed another choice? Then, I’d also go for a pearl set – an 18ct White Gold South Sea Pearl and Diamond Pendant, as well as our 18ct White Gold South Sea Cultured Pearl and Diamond Earrings – suitable for any occasion, day or night.”

Rose or white gold
Rory, on the other hand, is attracted to something more classical. “Our 18ct Yellow Gold Sapphire Rainbow Bracelet features a classic style with a quirky and colourful twist.” How about a ring instead, says Jake? “At first glance an 18ct Rose Gold Diamond Engagement Ring stands out in the showroom due to the commanding 3.00ct cognac pear-cut diamond but on closer inspection you notice its beautiful under-setting. It invokes images of Carl Faberge's early creations, with a unique and delicately woven lattice of pave white diamonds set into rose gold.”

Alex would also go for a ring but a beautiful alternative to an eternity ring. “We stock an 18ct White Gold Infinity Diamond Ring which represents everlasting love…and it’s available in rose gold too.”

That’s what the team would choose, why not come down to Martin & Co in the centre of Cheltenham and find your dream?
